Gitex Global is an expo held annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at Dubai World Trade Center. The event focuses on the rapid technology-driven transformations, investments and projects shaping the economies of the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
This year, and for the first time Zaka participated in this huge event to highlight to the participants the importance of Artificial Intelligence and the impact it will have on the future.
Our booth was at the Devslam conference, Hall 9 D-10, right next to the stage.
You could easily recognize us with our huge cubes and our dynamic team offering sweets and awesome stickers for everyone passing by.
We started the first two days by connecting with people from all around the world, especially the MENA region. We got the chance to share with them Zaka’s mission of teaching Artificial Intelligence and hear their great ideas and brilliant projects.
On the third day, our CEO Christophe Zoghbi gave a talk about the need for AI education, the talk turned out to be a huge success and we got amazing feedback from the participants, We also gave away 10 lucky winners free scholarships to our 16-week AI Certification program that will equip them with the critical skills needed to get hired in the tech industry.
On the final day, Zaka signed a partnership with Qewamx that will help us empower and scale the AI community in the Mena region.
Finally, it’s been a great experience for Zaka, we wrapped up the week with exciting opportunities and chats. We would like to thank everyone who passed by our booth and were interested to learn more about Zaka.
