2025 A Year of Accelerated Growth

In 2025, ZAKA turned momentum into measurable impact. We trained more than 7,000 individuals in AI, bringing our total community of trained learners to over 12,000. Across 2,500+ training hours and 90+ training sessions, learners didn’t just gain knowledge, they built careers, with 70 percent achieving career success in 2025 alone.

Beyond the classroom, our ecosystem came alive. We hosted 90 community events, organized 7 large-scale hackathons and marathons, and welcomed 500+ attendees at Lebanon’s AI Career Fair. Through SEEDS, we empowered 730 educators, shaping AI education in classrooms across the region. Our thought leadership expanded through 40 talks and webinars, engaging 600+ attendees and driving conversations that matter.

Where It All Starts: Building Access to AI

One of our most significant achievements in 2025 was expanding access to AI at scale. More than 2,500 new learners took their first step into AI through ZAKA, growing our foundation community to over 4,000 individuals. Flagship programs like AI for Juniors, the ZAKA Certified AI Educator, the AI Career Map, and Artificial Intelligence for Everyone in Arabic and English opened doors across ages, disciplines, and backgrounds. From Access to Action: Applying AI in the Real World

ZAKA delivered high-impact, hands-on AI programs that enabled learners to apply AI to real-world challenges across education, legal, marketing, and emerging sectors. Through landmark collaborations with SADER Legal, Inception–G42, Samsung Innovation Campus, Feer McQueen and Microsoft’s UAE AI Academy, more than 3,400 participants gained practical, job-relevant AI skills aligned with regional priorities. From Practice to Specialization: Building AI Mastery

Another major milestone was advancing learners from application to mastery. In 2025, ZAKA proudly graduated more than 221 learners across Machine Learning, Data Science, and Data Analytics through standout programs such as Khotwa, DEEP, and Nomu Al Ghurair. Representing 14 nationalities and with women comprising 64 percent of graduates, these cohorts delivered strong outcomes through capstone projects and real-company challenges. This impact translated directly into opportunity, with ZAKA Careers supporting 70 percent of graduates in securing jobs and launching meaningful AI careers.

Embedding AI Where Learning Lives: Higher Education

Strengthening higher education partnerships was another notable achievement. ZAKA worked with leading universities to embed AI into academic environments and institutional operations. From USEK’s long-term AI transformation partnership, to the launch of the AI Starter Kit with AUB reaching 925 enrollments, and hands-on certifications delivered with USJ CFP, Ajman University, and Abu Dhabi University, these collaborations marked a significant step toward AI-native campuses.

Scaling Impact Inside Organizations: Workforce Upskilling

Workforce transformation stood out as a key area of impact. ZAKA delivered 25 corporate training programs, upskilling more than 1,300 professionals across finance, agriculture, marketing, education, and the public sector. With over 330 training hours delivered, both technical and non-technical teams gained the confidence to adopt AI responsibly. New authorizations with AI Certs and Google Cloud further amplified this impact by enabling globally recognized certification pathways.

Growing Together: The ZAKA Community

Community-driven impact remained a defining strength. In 2025, ZAKA activated its ecosystem through seven major hackathons, AI for Good initiatives, Build with AI events with Google Developer Groups, and landmark sector-focused events such as Lebanon’s first AI in Healthcare conference. Supported by more than 20 active ambassadors across multiple countries, these initiatives strengthened collaboration, accelerated innovation, and expanded regional reach.

Lebanon’s First AI Career Fair

Creating tangible career outcomes was a standout success. Lebanon’s AI Career Fair returned in person at Beirut Digital District for its eighth edition, bringing together over 500 attendees and 20 participating firms. Through talks, project showcases, and live recruitment, the event reinforced a clear signal. Demand for AI talent is rising. And ZAKA continues to play a pivotal role in connecting skills to opportunity.

From Learning to Building: MadeBy

One of the year’s most exciting developments was the growth of MadeBy, ZAKA’s AI innovation and delivery unit. In 2025, MadeBy completed 10 applied AI projects with five partners, launched the first Arab-focused image generation model with MiddleFrame, supported AI startup founders through the Launchpad, and delivered impactful tools such as the AI Organizational Capacity Assessment. These achievements marked a shift from learning to large-scale execution.

Investing Early: SEEDS and the Future

A defining long-term milestone was the launch of SEEDS. Designed as a comprehensive AI education ecosystem for schools and educators, SEEDS delivered curriculum for Grades 4 to 12, trained hundreds of educators, secured strategic regional partnerships, and engaged classrooms across borders. This initiative represents a significant investment in early AI literacy and a powerful step toward shaping the next generation of AI-native learners.

ZAKA Base. Our New Hub of Innovation

2025 brought a game-changing milestone: the opening of ZAKA Base in Beirut, our first in-person training and community space. In 2026, it will become the heart of our ecosystem, hosting training, workshops, and collaborative events where learning, experimentation, and connection come alive. ZAKA Base anchors us in Lebanon while powering regional innovation like never before.

As we move into 2026, our focus is clear. Turning AI awareness into lasting, real-world impact. Building on the momentum of 2025, we are doubling down on depth, execution, and ecosystem building across sectors. From scaling AI transformation journeys inside organizations, to growing sector-focused ecosystems, expanding SEEDS across schools, launching the Certified AI Consultant program, strengthening career pathways, and delivering applied AI through MadeBy, every effort is centered on people and purpose. With deeper partnerships, a growing talent pipeline, and ZAKA Base as a physical home for our community, 2026 is about turning momentum into maturity. The work continues.
