The ZAKA FUN Challenge is an open AI build challenge for anyone who wants to stop just using AI and start building with it.

You will learn the basics of AI and useful tools, learn how to build and ship an app fast, form your team, choose your idea, and start building.

What is the Fun Challenge?

 The challenge starts with a hands-on orientation and workshop where you will learn the basics of AI, discover useful AI tools, and learn how to turn an idea into an app and ship it fast.

After that, you will have three days to build, test, experiment, break things, fix them, and get your project ready.

There is no theme and no complicated brief. You can build something useful, funny, creative, weird, simple, ambitious, or anything you genuinely want to try.

How does it go?

Teams are made up of 2 to 4 participants. If you do not have a team yet, that is completely fine. We can help match you with other participants.

The Top 10 teams will be selected to present their projects live at the Lebanon AI Festival on September 19.

With the support of NXT by AM Bank, participants will compete for a total of $1,200 in cash prizes and vouchers.

Eligible participants can also redeem a $10 credit by NXT by AM Bank after activating their account.

You will learn the basics of AI, and other useful tools, learn how to build and ship an app fast, form your team, choose your idea, and start building.

The Top 10 teams will present their projects live in front of the jury and festival audience.

Challenge Timeline

September 14 to 17

3- Day Build Sprint

Build on your own time with your team. Test your idea, improve it, troubleshoot, and get your final project ready for submission.
